A new political party was also formed during this election cycle: the United Republic Front, formed by Legate. The URF party is seen as the successor to the Melonia Reborn party that existed in the previous election, but was disbanded due to its unpopularity that stemmed from its aggressive and propagandist campaign posters. In an MBC News interview on April 2, 2023, Legate stated: “I believe all ideas need a good and solid organization platform such as the URF, and the greatest key difference from M.R. is that it does not take Hitlerian aesthetics nor demagogue panic propaganda as selling points.”
