Buzzy_the_Bee, also known as Sock, is a current Member of Parliament in the Republic of Melonia. Sock is also the owner of Arazi Bakes in Sjafardyn, a business that specializes in baked goods.
Tenure as Member of Parliament (April 15, 2023-Present)
Sock has passed numerous laws during her time as a Member of Parliament and has held a lot of good discussions about bills and the overall government. Sock has helped with the notes of parliament meetings in the official parliament records.
Sock co-wrote Bill #22, the Intellectual Property Act, with, at the time, Speaker tz_scion. The bill was discussed with the rest of parliament, however, the bill was not voted on.
Service as Temporary Judge in CRIM-5 (August 7, 2023)
Sock was randomly appointed to be the temporary judge for CRIM-5, Republic of Melonia v. IsoKamikaze (August 7, 2023), as there was no appointed judges. The Sock found Iso guilty for all charges but one, which was for treason, and sentenced Iso for 120 minutes of public labor, a ban of 4 days and 2 hours, and a fine of 2,048 melits.
Personal Melonian Activities
Before winning her M.P. seat, Sock frequently attended Parliament meetings, voicing her opinion when the Speaker and the M.P.s were deliberating on bills. This led to her reputation skyrocketing in the Melonian community as a citizen who used her rights as a citizen to voice her opinion before the government, which has not been very common in Melonia before she joined. This factor, along with her campaigning, likely led to her victory in the April 15, 2023 election.
Sock is the owner of Arazi Bakes, which is a store in Sjafardyn that sells baked goods.
