JosephineGrey, formerly known as JosephineMira or Mira, is the founder and incumbent Consul of Velsor. They are a former Melonian and Cieurnish citizen, and was the Minister of State during the One Hour War. They were appointed to this position by President Michael Webb, and confirmed unanimously by the Parliament to take the position on August 9, 2022. Josephine was also previously the Prime Minister of Melonia, being the first Prime Minister in Melonian history. They ran unopposed for the position, at that time named “Vice Mayor”, on May 30, 2022, under President Michael Webb's ticket. They ran again with President Webb on June 15, 2022, also winning unopposed. The same occurred during the July 15, 2022 election. They were a member of the Parteife Grejta (The Cieurnish National Party) until the party's abolition on July 29, 2022.

Josephine resigned from Prime Minister on August 12, 2022 due to a lack of interest in holding that office and general burnout.

Josephine joined the Melonian Representative Party on October 14, 2022.

Josephine was fired from the Minister of State position by President Michael Webb on October 16, 2022 due to being a large contributor to Melonia's now denounced actions in the One-Hour War.

Josephine ran unopposed on May 30, 2022, and therefore, automatically won. After their victory, they wrote the Homeland Protection Act and the Inter-Server Diplomacy Act which both got passed unanimously by the Parliament (at that time titled the Senate) during their first meeting on May 31, 2022.

Vice Mayor Grey led the first ever Senate (now titled Parliament) meeting on May 31, 2022. They pushed for and passed both of their proposed laws unanimously, and also led the passing of the other laws on the agenda.

Josephine was a dual citizen of Melonia and the Cieurnish Empire, another nation on another Minecraft server who Melonia would later partner with. Josephine pushed extensively in the Melonian Senate for the city to establish a connection with the Kingdom. This measure was unanimously passed by the Senate. Josephine immediately went to work on building a small consulate for the incoming Kingdom, which was completed just as fast as it was started. They also served as the main negotiator between the two nations.

They also helped push for an official treaty to be formed between the two nations, which officially went into effect on June 16, 2022.

Josephine joined the Parteife Grejta, translated to the Cieurnish National Party. This party advocated for Cieurnish nationalism and direct democracy. It leaned center-left. The party was abolished on July 29, 2022 due to the leader, Bannerman, renouncing his Melonian citizenship.

Prime Minister Josephine supported support of enacting a claim of the entire Minecraft world (except the Taladosian colony) and naming the land the Melonian Republic. This proposed restructure would use a semi-presidential system. In this system, you would elect two people for the two positions, the same as with the City government, a President and a Member of Parliament to represent you. The President would appoint a Prime Minister, who is head of the cabinet, and then the PM would appoint a cabinet, which would be approved by the Parliament. The Parliament would approve the PM.

The President would be head-of-state, mostly doing things like executing foreign affairs, giving speeches, being allowed to expunge criminals, etc, etc, while the Prime Minister would run the day-to-day affairs of the government, and would more directly affect citizens. The Parliament can kick the Prime Minister or any Cabinet members out at any time with a majority “vote of no confidence”.

This support led to the complete restructuring of Melonia into a Republic.

Josephine officially resigned from the office of Prime Minister of Melonia on August 12, 2022, due to being tired of being in leadership roles. They also stated that for the last few Parliament meetings before resigning, they were not overly interested in the meetings. They remained Minister of State until the One Hour War. Josephine was replaced by tz_scion on August 15, 2022.

Josephine accelerated the development of the Melonian Legion starting on October 14, 2022 in order to prepare for what was believed to be a Cieurnish invasion of Melonia. The Melonian Legion was ordered by Josephine to attack Najtraunas on October 16, 2022. After a 57-minute long conflict, President Michael Webb, Prime Minister tz_scion, and Cieurnish Minister of Foreign Relations Bannerman agreed to a ceasefire when Bannerman explained that Cieurnia never intended to invade Melonia, and instead had plans to invade another Minecraft nation instead, and that Josephine had pulled the Melonian government along to fight against Cieurnia, as Cieurnia had recently purged Josephine from the empire due to perceived immaturity.

President Michael Webb immediately ordered that Josephine be removed from Melonian government, and ordered the Melonian Legion to return back to Melonia City. Shortly after, Josephine left Melonia, citing that they were no longer having fun and that being in Melonia had become stressful for them.

On March 1st 2023, Josephine began the process of creating the Republic of Velsor.

Josephine built two houses; one located on 4 Main Street in Downtown and the other on 1 Promise Way in Haigdin. The house in Downtown was later sold to President Webb, and the house in Haigdin was famously annihilated by Kaiser Tava I but then sold to Speaker Scion to build a public mine under his company MineCo.
