Parteife Grejta, also known by its English name The Cieurnish National Party, was a political party formed by Bannerman on June 29, 2022. It was abolished on July 30, 2022.
Founding (June 29, 2022)
Bannerman, recently becoming a naturalized Melonian citizen, still had a lot of love for his native land of Cieurnia, and therefore, started the party to push Cieurnian culture and ideals into the Melonian Senate. He believed that Cieurnians who had been naturalized into the City of Melonia deserved more representation in the Melonian government.
Ideals
In the official political party filing, the Cieurnish National Party stated that they advocated for Cieurnish nationalism and direct democracy. They also stated that their political leaning was center-left.
Abolition (July 29, 2022)
Bannerman, being unhappy with the Melonian government's foreign policy at the time, decided to not only resign from his position as Member of Parliament for Expansia, but to also renounce his citizenship. This forced Melonia to seize all of his assets, including the headquarters of Parteife Grejta. With its only remaining member in agreement, the Parteife Grejta was officially abolished on July 29, 2022.
